Comfortable and adjustable
When designing the Equi-pack, we took the fit and comfort for the pony into account.
The fit is easy to adjust. The pack saddle, or carrying system, has several compartments where loose foam pads can be inserted or removed depending on the build of your pony. This ensures that your pony's spine remains clear and that he enjoys carrying his backpack.
Do you have a wide, round Shetland? Then extra padding may not be necessary to keep the spine clear.
Do you have a more luxuriously built pony with a little more withers? Then the carrying system is probably best with the extra inserts placed in the compartments.
The foam used in the panels is firm enough to distribute pressure, yet soft and supple to be comfortable for your pony.
To attach the pack saddle to your pony, use a short dressage girth. The girth system has a so-called point strap and a V-strap. This system is also often seen in dressage saddles and ensures that the pressure is distributed more evenly and your pony backpack is more stable.
